Fall Fling:
Our annual Fall Fling is scheduled for Saturday October 1st from 8-4 at our shop. Equipment Reps will be there, flee market, food and many sale items. There will be an special discount off certain items that day as well. so make sure you stop on by and enjoy a nice fall day.

Pros pointers: I will be at the Thames Valley TU meeting Tuesday 9/20 doing a presentation on fly fishing eastern Connecticut. It is at Nickerson’s campground on Rt. 198 in Chaplin CT at 7:00 pm

Stream Report:
Willimantic: flow 223CFS temps are 62 try terrestrials and small caddis
Natchaug: flow is at 155 CFS temps are 60 try terrestrials, midges, small caddis
Hockanum: flow is at  144 CFS temps 60 try terrestrials, midges, small caddis
Salmon: flow is at 156 CFS temps are 60 terrestrials and small caddis
Farmington: flow is at 2110 CFS from the dam and 128 from Still River this is tough fishing
Housatonic: flow is at 1930 CFS temps are 60. This is a good time to drift the river for some big trout.
Salmon river NY: flow 407  in Pineville, 350 from dam. There are some kings in lower river below trestle pool and a slug of Coho’s just came in yesterday. The real run should pick up this week with cooler temps river is at 60 degrees.
